Mostly Harmless Audiobook
Douglas Adams thought of writing a trilogy first, later because of the fans the author carried on with his characters. Now this is the fifth book of the series and the story does not appear to be coming close to its end. New branches and new dimensions can be seen in the story which excites the interest of the young audience at every level. Arthur Dent has always lived a life full of terrible things. He has never been blessed with a single moment in life which he could cherish as his own.
But this time he sees life with a different angle, the surroundings have suddenly become pleasant for him and in these soothing moments he decides to enjoy. This is where he makes a mistake because enjoyment is something which is not made for him. The life of this poor soul is cursed with miseries and now after a moment of enjoyment the curse gets more terrible.
All the terrible things in the world seem to be attacking him from all sides and he has to fight all of it in order to save himself and the world this time. Problems that were present around him were ample for him and then he gets the shock that he had a daughter as well of which he has remained unaware for many years.
Martin Freeman has narrated the meeting of the father and daughter in a funny way. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and The Restaurant at the End of the Universe also had such shockers which the author described in a comic sense. Listening to this novel means you will get all the ingredients i.e tragedy, comedy and some action.
