Morrigan’s Cross

Circle trilogy gets a quick start and the introduction of the character is done along with the story which gets into full motion from the beginning. Nora Roberts has done this a couple of times i.e the author does not make the fans lazy by giving them the details in bulk. If someone wants the details he can get them along with the story. Hoyt Mac has lost his twin when he was just a child and he wants to know the reason after which he would be able to save Cian i.e his twin brother. A lot of search bears not fruitful result thus the man goes to a goddess for the solution. Instead of a solution the goddess gives him a quest to fulfill after which he would be able to save his brother. The quest is simple i.e kill the vampire queen named Lilith along with her army of vampires. She is changing simple innocent men into vampires and Cain is among those who have been transformed into bloodsucking vampires.
Along the way Mac meets friends with extraordinary powers and thinks he can finally have ample power to contest the rule of the queen.  The Awakening and Affaire Royale type of joy can be relished once again through this whole series. Dick Hill has handled everything in solo style in narration, narrating the queen in a cunning voice was a class act by the narrator which has no parallel at present. Unimaginable powers are present in the hands of the queen along with her fellow vampires here but Mac has the courage to stand against anything terrible thing.
