Philip K. Dick is reviewed by many critics and contemporaries as one of the greatest writers on the planet of science fiction stories. He has written some of the most original, intriguing, and thought-provoking science fiction fantasies of our time. The stories in this collection will make you cringe, laugh, and think, all at the same time.
The best story in the book is ‘The Minority Report’. It is a special unit that only looks to employ those who had the great power of precognition which was required for the prevention of crimes. This is also the story that was the inspiration of the Minority Report movie, which also did quite well for the viewers.
Every story in this collection is amazing. The only exception is the last 7-minute tale which was not that good, especially when compared with the other stories in this book.
If you have the capacity for critical thinking in a science fiction setting then this book will make a fantastic literary experience. The writing is pretty solid and the narration is top of the line as well.
