Midnight Tides Audiobook
Once the tribes of Tiste Edur used to work under a single order and then betrayal among them brought them to the dagger-drawn situation. For decades instead of trying to bring peace to the land, the leaders have been fighting battles and shedding the blood of the innocent without any reason.
Now peace is coming to the kingdom once again and it is not because the people of these different tribes have forgotten all about the hatred rather it is because of the war that is coming to them. The Kingdom of Lether is engulfing all the weak kingdoms one by one at a very fast pace and soon Tiste Edur would come on the list.
Remaining together will give Tiste Edur sometime against the enemy in which perhaps they would be able to come up with a better plan as compared to those who have fallen. Steven Erikson has made the enemy stronger this time, the kingdom of Lether has no weakness and along with swords, it has gold too to press the rival.
Narrator Michael Page gives authority to Lether through high-pitched sounds. If you haven’t heard about Gardens of the Moon and Deadhouse Gates then this book will make no sense for you. Those first two books provide a base to the series after which the rest of the things follow. There are a few dominant figures in the story but the author has not made it clear that which one was under the main focus of the writer’s pen. Perhaps in the parts to come some new faces will also emerge that will take the place of these old ones.
