Nocturno Hawthorne was an efficient cop in the department, going after crimes and criminals was his daily routine. The man was good in his work and he never felt any hesitation in going into the face of danger. One thing which he didn’t want was to enter the world full of magic. Magic was not his field so the thing just made him feel sick on all occasions. But when the thing came to him he had no defense against it thus he was thrown into a parallel universe. There he didn’t expect to fall in love but when Franka comes in front of him he could not resist the temptation of her presence.
Ironically the woman belongs to his twin in that realm but this doesn’t stop Noc from trying his chance. The woman possesses an odd behavior because she wears a mask for the rest of the world and this means that she wants to hide her personality. Getting closer to men is not what Franka likes and when Noc shows his persistent behavior, she is forced to put down her mask in front of him. Kirsten Ashley in a parallel realm has produced a character that is too good to be true.
Franka’s character was tough to narrate for Tillie Hooper because the girl is so complex. Give a chance to Dream Spinner and Mystery Man as well and these books will never disappoint anyone in quality. The message in these books is love but it is not lusting rather true love is promoted by Kristen. Barbaric touch is not given to the characters that’s why they always behave decently no matter what the situation is.
