Jane is there for the hiring when someone has vampire issues to deal with. Whether the vampires are deadly or not does matter to Jane because she can deal with both of the categories in her own style. She has not met anyone like her who can hunt rogue vampires like her. While on the way she has met many good vampires too in New Orleans and she has started to see positivity in this way.
One day she comes across a complete stranger who is new to the place and he claims that he is given the duty to get rid of the insane vampires. This is something new to Jane and she thinks that the man is not serious in his talk. Soon she is proved wrong because the man proves himself an equally skilled hunter like Jane.
This was one challenge she thought she would never have to face and now the horror was in front of her and she had no other opportunity except to face the thing. The other problem which could not be sidelined was the presence of the rogue vampires that should be tamed at all costs as the first priority.
Khristine Hvam has given the best performance in narration and no one had to talk about the awesome narration of Final Heir and Junkyard War during the progress of this story. Faith Hunter has not come up with such a classic story for the first time in his life. Creating such stories has become a part of routine work for Faith so keep expecting good work from the author.
