He was a towering, big athlete and was also the only person from his Burlington hometown to ever go pro. But, unfortunately, his career ended, before it even started. On his first day on the field, he had a helmet-to-helmet collision that knocked him off the field for the good and then left him with a kind of improbable side effect, and he couldn’t forget anything at all.
The second time it happened was a couple of decades later at home. Decker then became a police detective and returned from a stakeout one evening and then suddenly was into a nightmare. His wife, daughter, and brother-in-law were all brutally murdered. Memory Man novel was a huge hit. More than 10 million copies of this novel are in print already. David Baldacci proved in this book that he is for sure a highly gifted storyteller.
