This is the trilogy that will get into the head of the listener with the passage of time. The feelings that the three characters are having are difficult to understand in the beginning. Slowly everything becomes clear in the mind of the audience. So give author Colleen Hoover some time in which the author would be able to make the story clear in everybody’s mind.
Ridge and Sydney are good friends and they were in the same relationship in the past as well but there is Maggie who has been an issue for Sydney. She thinks that she is not jealous of Maggie but the fact is that she thinks that Maggie keeps Ridge engaged all the time. When Ridge established a relationship with Sydney, he made it clear that Maggie will remain a part of his life all the time.
Maggie is basically ill and she is trying to enjoy the remaining days of her life he keeps Ridge up to date about her leisure activities. Perhaps she is trying to remain happy in this way. Sydney on the other hand thinks that Maggie has become the reason why she hasn’t been able to get close to Ridge all these years.
Angela Goethals, Zachary Webber, Jonathan Todd Ross, and Rebekkah Ross have narrated the book together and surely this book needed that variety in voices. It Ends with Us and November 9 were not love triangles so a single narrator was ample for it but this is something else. Here we find friendship, love, and a hint of jealousy among the characters too which they must get rid of in order to have a happy life.
