K.F. Breene comes up with so many new things on every occasion and it is amazing to see that the author works so hard to bring innovation to the audience. Although books such as Toe the Line have trended a lot the author has not followed the trends rather the author has a world of his own which is painted in every novel differently.
Nicole Poole starts the narration with some detailed information about the Ivy House Crew. Suddenly the crew is given a task to host a neighbouring mage which is something no one expected to happen. The people of the area have not expected such a thing for a very long time. Surely the visit to the image is not something which could be enjoyed because it could easily bring catastrophe if something goes wrong.
Jess and her team have to be vigilant as the time has come to prove their worth. Austin Steele is actually coming to the town and he is quite immune to dealing with shifters. The situation has gone more intense as compared to his last visit and when Steele observes that there is more than one problem in the area,
he thinks that the time has come to summon his brother. So all of it is happening here and the end might not be smooth after all. The creatures of the dark and the magic of the mage will come face to face once again and all one can hope for is less disaster as compared to the past. The innocent can suffer badly if the crew and Jess don’t defend the situation very well.
