Neil Gaiman makes permanent pictures in the mind of the fans who listen to his books now and then. There are great figures who have an impact not only on the mind but also on the heart and soul as well. Stories of the series are full of horror so not recommended for the little kids in the house still if the kids have the courage then they can give it a try. This book does not contain only one story which Bernard Clark has narrated rather it has many stories with different monsters that have magical powers of their own.
H.P. Lovecraft’s creations are beyond the thinking capacity of the listeners so they will like Deep Ones, Cthulhu Shoggoths, and Elder Things. Giving time to one monster at a time made the life of the narrator bit easy because getting settled with a new tone is not easy.
To enhance the aroma Good Omens and The Sandman would be quite nice appetizers for everyone. Battles portrayed in these books are not epic all the time, the sensation however is not negligible. Stories seem to sparkle in front of us and the soothing light gives us something to remain attached to throughout the story.
Those who think that the initial one or two stories would be awesome and the rest would be just like the filling are seriously mistaken because it is like listening to a better story than the previous one all the time. A few breaks will not break the rhythm so the book can listen in parts as well. There are separate stories and they have no sequence which should be followed as a must item.
