Looking Glass

Looking Glass is the third book in Chronicles of Alice. It is a science fiction and fantasy novel which is written by Christina Henry. She is an American author known for writing horror fiction, science fiction, and dark fantasy genres. Among her best novels, you will find Near the Bone as one of them. Another worth mentioning novel by the author is Lost, Boy.

The audio narration of Looking Glass is done by Jenny Sterlin and Gildart Jackson. Their pairing worked for the characters and you will enjoy it. Jenny deserves a special mention for her outstanding performance.

The book is packed with four new novellas under this title where the listeners will find magic running as freely as blood and secrets.

Lovely Creature is the first novella that is set in New City. It is a story of a young girl, Elizabeth who had a secret. But, there was someone who knew her secret, and that someone also had a secret of his own.

Girl in Amber is the second chapter. It is a story of Hatcher and Alice who were looking for a comfortable place to rest. Alice wanted to have a cottage by a lake, but she stumbled into a house while walking in a snowstorm blindly.

When I First Came to Town is the third novella. The story of Hatcher continued. He was told by his boss to fight the formidable Grinder, who had the repute of never letting go of his opponent alive.

The Mercy Seat is the final chapter. It is a story about a hidden place where people fear and hate magic as well as magicians.

Looking Glass is not as good as the previous two books in the series but it is still worth it. There will be some outstanding individual adventures which everyone will enjoy.
