When most of the students selected other subjects at St. Mary’s, it was Max who selected history as her major subject. Later she realized that she has done a splendid thing by selecting this subject because at St. Mary’s history is revisited by the students to get a real picture of it in the mind.
But there are certain issues attached to these tours back in history, one of them of course is associated with the alteration in it. If any major character like Isaac Newton notices you on your tour then you are bound to change the whole chapter of history. As history is linked thus changing one incident can lead to many other things which will affect the existence of a person in the future.
For an experienced campaigner like Max, this is not a new thing at all because she has been in these history lessons since Just One Damned Thing After Another. This time she slips a little bit more and the mistakes that she has made this time are perhaps not those which can be corrected easily. She however still thinks that she can deal with the matter more effectively but she is grounded for a lifetime.
To correct the whole thing, Max has to break another rule i.e come out of her grounded situation and complete the task. Jodi Taylor has added some colors of a Hard Time too in her seventh book of the series. Zara Ramm has narrated the Time Police concept too thus the narrator always comes up with the best performance in this series. The time-traveling and the ancient eras everything is narrated with full attention and concentration.
