Knight’s Ransom

Kingfountain became a battleground because of the disputes that arose between Devon Argentine and the ruling king. The ruling king was actually someone who took everything illegally because the Argentine family was supposed to be ruling the kingdom. Then after tough competition and corrosive rivalry, the Argentine family was successful in taking back the rule.

However, this didn’t decrease the number of enemies for the family and there were serious conspiracies going on in the palace. One of those conspiracies led to an attack on the Queen of Ceredigion. The queen would have been abducted but the boy named Ransom appeared on the scene and saved the life of the queen.

After that Ransom was given a high position in the court and he was assigned the duty to protect the prince. The boy never thought that he would get this kind of opportunity in life, now finally he had what he always wanted i.e kinghood. Serious issues related to the Kingfountain didn’t end here because the enemy plans an attack once again and Ransom is quite surprised to see that he is also a target this time.

Jeff Wheeler takes the war to the young boy who never wanted to be a part of such a thing. Though he wanted to become a knight he never wanted to be at the center of conspiracies. The Thief’s Daughter and The Silent Shield will further tell the audience about the skill of the author. Kate Rudd’s narration is completely outclassing and there is no one who can compete with the narrator at this stage because he has done a splendid job.
