Fonda Lee i.e the one who has written the series started it with the description of a new kind of land where jades are not hard to find. The jades present in this part of the world are not of the ordinary type rather they have a certain kind of power that can make an individual turn into a superhuman. For years the island of Kekon has been ruled by the Kaul family that has protected the place and its secrets as well.
Jade City told the audience all about the Kaul family and the powers which it possesses. The ruling family produces Green Bone warriors who are taught special skills and then they are allowed to use the power of the jades as well. With the help of these warriors, the people of the island have been able to protect the treasure which is buried in this part of the world.
However, the time is changing now and the rulers all around the globe are becoming stronger. They are coming from all sides for the sake of one thing i.e the jades which could enable them to get powers that they have always dreamed of.
The Kaul family is in trouble for the first time and it is more concerned about its safety first because the jades can be protected only when the Kaul family is safe. When Andrew Kishino will finish narrating the end of this book, the listener will surely want to have Jade Legacy in his hands. The thrill and action present in the series are depicted well by the narrator of the series at every spot.
