Jade Legacy is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the third chapter of The Green Bone Saga. The book is written by Fonda Lee. She is a Canadian-American author who is mostly involved in writing speculative fiction. In novels, you will find her Jade War novel to be a special one. Moreover, Jade City is another novel by the author which is worth mentioning here.
The audio narration of Jade Legacy is done by Andrew Kishino. This narrator is pure love who did a fantastic job in bringing the characters of this book to life.
Jade was considered to be the magical and mysterious substance that was once exclusive only to the Green Bone warriors. Jade was then coveted throughout the entire world. Everybody around the world wanted to have access to all of the supernatural abilities that it was capable of providing. Those abilities include the traditional forces such as the government. Criminal kingpins and mercenaries.
There were other modern players included as well including athletes, doctors, and the movie studios. Just when that struggle over Jade became much larger and deadly then the Kaul family would never be the same and neither does the ancient ways associated with the Kekonese Green Bones.
The Kauls were known to be battered by intense tragedy and war. They were also overwhelmed by the old wounds and hatreds as their enemies were on the rise and their own country was riven by foreign interference and treacherous factions.
Jade Legacy brings this amazing trilogy to an exciting finish. The pacing at times was indeed a bit slow but as a whole, you will find everything truly justified.
