It is Antonia who has never seen love and association in her life. Although her parents are rich and famous they have never noticed her because the parents have no love for one another and they don’t want to pay attention to her either.
If you are guessing that the theme would be like Without a Trace then you are making a mistake. Here Antonia starts liking her place in the world. She tries to remain invisible all the time because in this way she feels safe from all kinds of threats. Reading books and watching movies is the only passion that she possesses and whenever she gets a chance to watch a good movie it seems to be the most enjoyable moment of her life.
She finally starts acting as a screenwriter in Hollywood and she wasn’t hoping for more when a British filmmaker puts his eye on her and he thinks that she should work in movies. It was an amazing opportunity for Antonia and the only problem was that she has to come out of hiding for this purpose. Finally, she takes that bold step so that the world can recognize who she really is and at this spot, another problem comes to the surface.
Danielle Steel puts two choices in front of the primary character of the novel i.e either she can become invisible again or start fighting for her right. Narrator Michael Braun has made it look different than the stories like Overkill . This is the story of a girl who has to stand up for her right on her own, help is not provided to her by life and she fights back with her own mental and physical power.
