Haunted by a demon is bad news for any person, the demon is there to take your life away so getting scared is a natural thing. Thus Evie’s scary feeling was natural because she was able to sense something suspicious very near to her. At night or whenever the girl is alone, she thinks that she can feel the presence of that monstrous creature sitting close to her. Now after a passage of time, a unique thing appears i.e Evie thinks that she has started to enjoy the presence of that strange creature near her.
His scent has started to take over her mind and she wants to join him no matter what happens to her physical presence in the world. At certain points Amy Bartol makes the listeners feel sick of the situation. True love kind of thing is not seen in the novel, it is an obsession that makes both the characters mad.
They develop a hunger for each other instead of an instant liking. Inescapable and Indebted can be compared with this book narrated by none other than Emily Woo Zeller. Emily is an emerging name in the fantasy world so we cannot deny her grip on the narration. Here Emily has worked more on Evie and no doubt she was the main character around which the story revolved.
There is nothing in the novel for the kids so get this book if you are an adult and know a few things about sex and appeal. True or pure love is not even in the imaginations of the lusty lovers that are present in this book.
