In Fury Born

Fury Born is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is written by David Weber. He is a brilliant science fiction and fantasy author. He has written plenty of series in this genre where the Horror Harrington is his most loved series. Ashes of Victory and War of Honor are a couple of the most exciting novels from the author.

The audio narration of In Fury Born novel is done by Vivienne Leheny. It turned out to be a fairly good performance where you will enjoy the experience of an easy and enjoyable listen. She was just too brilliant in the role of Alicia DeVries along with the supporting cast of the novel as well. The Imperial Intelligence failed to locate them. The Imperial Fleet couldn’t get hold of them and they were unstoppable by the local defenses as well. It appeared that the planet-shattering pirates were invincible.

But, they committed a grave mistake on their part when they raided the quiet home/ work of Alicia Devries, an ex-commando leader. They brutally tortured and then murdered her entire family. They left her for the dead.

In response to this, Alicia herself decided to become a pirate. She stole the technology-enriched AI-ship so that she could start with her very own vendetta. All of her fellows thought that she has gone crazy. The Imperial Fleet in the meantime got shoot-on-sight orders for her. The pirates want her dead as well. But, she got a couple of allies about whom nobody had any information. The audio version of the book made people wait quite long. It came almost a decade later than the print version of the book. But, it was worth the wait as the experience of this audiobook will be unique and better than its paperback edition.
