Will Wight wrote an excellent tale and then has narrated it equally well. It is good to see that an author is trying to narrate his creation so that the emotions and thoughts can be conveyed to the fans in the same way that the author wanted. Reaper and Ghostwater kind of stories can impress anyone and for the lovers of fantasy stories, these books can enhance the addiction even more. Simon i.e the main character of this story is presented as a helpless being because he has no superpowers of his own.
The enemies known as the Travelers came to his village and killed his family members in front of him but there was nothing he could do as the Travelers had mystical powers. Moreover, the Travelers made a lot of villagers their slaves without any reason.
When one of the villagers revealed the fact that he was the savior according to prophesy, Simon was just not interested in any of that crap. He wanted to take revenge on the enemy on his own. So he started a journey to find the power with the help of which he would be able to destroy the lord of the enemies and free his villagers too.
The task was not easy and then again Simon had nothing left in life to get engaged in so he started his journey to find a new destiny for himself. This is just the first part so a lot of things are not explained intentionally by the author because he wanted the fans to be curious about the next parts after this one.
That was great! Thanks for posting it.
