Hello, Darkness Audiobook
Sandra Brown’s characters are never completely innocent and it is their past mistakes that start affecting their present and future. Although they try up to their maximum level to run away from those mistakes which they have committed in the past it does not work for them. Paris committed some very serious mistakes at the beginning of her practical life and she thought she was lucky that she got the chance to learn from those mistakes.
After leaving the past behind, Paris starts a new life in Austin. She decides that she will not commit those mistakes again and for this purpose, she stops meeting people. Her radio show at night is the only thing which she takes part in and goes straight to her house after that. Life was slowly coming back on track for this young woman when she gets a strange call during the radio show one night.
A boy tells Paris that his girlfriend left him because of on-air advice given to her by Paris. Now that boy wants to kill his girlfriend first after which he is going to come after Paris. Crime psychologist Dean Malloy is the only hope for Paris under such circumstances. Although she thought that she would not meet him again in life she has no other option in her arsenal.
Seeing Red and Overkill was also about women in distress and was narrated by the same narrator i.e Victor Slezak. Pairs thought that she would be able to put a veil on her past but she has to dig it again to keep herself and the other girl safe from a madman.
