Blood rule i.e a duel between magical creatures far beyond the imagination of an ordinary man returns in the second installment. There have been multiple fights on a variety of issues in the first part and the road looks clearer this time when Jaenelle starts towards her destiny. She has been the chosen one, right from the day when she was born and almost all the people think that she is the one according to prophesy.
Also, there is another group that works counter to all of this and it thinks that Jaenelle is not the girl who is needed to save the kingdom. These different thoughts have not altered the way of this young girl who knows exactly what she has to do for the people of the land and herself as well. She is a savior which the people need and fulfilling her duty is the only way she can bring peace to her mind and the land.
In her isolated condition, she marches forward without a friend on her side and with foes approaching her from all sides. The dark realm has been a mysterious place but this time a witch will show what she is truly made of. Thus the whole landscape is about to change and it all depends on Jaenelle.
Anne Bishop produced interactive books in the past, Murder of Crows and Etched in Bone are good examples of the author’s works. John Sharian narrates a story of the same standard here. Not assume in the mind before actually listening to the entire book because it will make all false assumptions proved wrong.
