Heir of Shadows

The students at this academy are apparently human but actually, they are not. This is the part of the world where everything collides and getting out safely is not a very bright option for the fellows. Kel Carpenter has started writing about the Daizlei Academy in fabulous words. The selection of words has always served as the key an author’s creations.

There was so much heart touching in Lucifer’s Daughter after which the author also produced Dark Horse. Here a family of two is trying to hide from the people who would kill them for sure if they come to know their secret. For many years these kids were successful in keeping themselves away from the eyes of the people chasing them.

Then on one occasion, their identity was revealed and they were sent to Daizlei Academy which was designed for kids with supernatural powers. The school was not the problem, actually, the children were with secrets that were even threatening to the world of the supernatural beings. Now they have to survive among other students and there is nothing that could be done.

As long as their secrets are hidden everything would be safe and sound but if the secret leaks then even the academy would not be a safe place for them and for the rest of the students studying in the institute. This was one of the initial parts of the series so it needed an enthusiastic narrator who could infuse energy into the characters and surely Stacey Glemboski was the right selection in this regard. Stacey’s voice will go long way in the series, it is precise and accurate for the characters and situation.
