HeartMate is the opening chapter of the Celta novel series. This romance fantasy book is written by Robin D. Owens. She is a RITA award-winning writer of futuristic and fantasy romance novels. Heart Change is a very good novel from the author for which she also won the prestigious Daphne du Maurier Award in 2010. This award was given in the mystery/ suspense category. Another top novel from the same Celta series is Heart Search.
The audio narration of HeartMate novel is done by Noah Michael Levine. The performance was electrifying which will keep you interested and motivated throughout this audiobook. Rand for all his life has looked ahead to meet and greet his HeartMate. He wanted to start a family with her. He was once a street tough and now he has become a highly respected artisan and a nobleman. He was able to craft an ideal HeartGift which within the tradition of the psychically gifted people of the Celta Planet is the known way of finding a wife.
Danith is drawn to the spectacular necklace which was on display in the T’Ash shop. But, she is also quite wary of its creator. This was the case despite an intense attraction. In a planet where all is defined through their psychic potential, Danith has got little while placing her at the other end of the social network coming from the T’Ash.
HeartMate can be best described as a dynamic, original, and fascinating novel. This first title in the series comes with intriguing world-building with not much of a backstory. The author delivered it perfectly with strong and exciting characters. The plot is also delightfully twisty. A lot of things to love here for sure.
