Greenlights

Matthew McConaughey has called this book a love letter to life. No doubt about it because the author has described life in a beautiful way. Finding love and passion in every aspect of life is never easy so Matthew has given a real optimistic approach here. Finding negative things is difficult in such books, it is not made for stuff like that.

The author started writing this book at the age of fifty and he says that there are many riddles that he wants to solve and those riddles are connected to life. When Matthew talks about life, he is not talking about personal life rather he is talking about life in general. Though it seems that he is trying to solve the riddles of his own life but that is not the case, Matthew is trying to help all of us so that we can give meaning to our lives and much more.

During his early youth, he used to keep different diaries in which he was always writing something. No in his fifties, Mathew has brought out those diaries and he is trying to understand those feelings. He thinks that he is mature enough to give answers to those thoughts. Also, he is not shy to discuss those things in front of the public that’s why there is no need to hide anything.

Narrated on his own, the author has surpassed books like Children of Memory in fame. He has just tried to keep everything real rather than trying to add too much spice for the sake of fame. Perhaps the author was not looking for fame, he just wanted to bring those thoughts out of his system.
