When Murderbot found a dead body just by the Preservation Station then it knew very well that it has to assist the security of the station to find out who the dead was. It also needs to find out the reason behind the killing and this was believed to be quite straightforward. The other thing that it had to determine was why this happened and who knew about it. All these questions would take time to find all the relevant answers.
This story is completely dominated by Murderbot and that is what people liked the most about it. The book tells a very fresh adventure tale with the intro of Murderbot into the Preservationās society. The strong narration of the novel by Kevin R. Free makes it even more special for the listeners.
