The audio narration of Forged in Steele is done by Adam Paul. The change of narrator in this chapter detracted the listeners from the flow of the series. Getting to experience the same known characters with different voices ruins the entire experience.
Steele was a team leader in KGI, which was a top-secret, super-elite, family-run business. He was such an enigma that even his teammates were not able to understand him. His emotions were locked down tight and there was nothing good enough to break the icy exterior. The only exception was Maren Scofield who was a doctor on a mission. She was the woman who got under the skin of Steele and threatened to crack that unflappable cool for which he was legendary. Steele was determined not to allow Maren to go past his strongly guarded defences. But when she was in danger, there was no way that he would allow anybody else to protect her. Maren was hiding something and he was sure about it. But he wasn’t prepared for the shocking discovery that her secrets would reveal in time.
Forged in Steele is a very good story. You will be so happy with the character development of Steele who started to show some strong emotions in this instalment.
