Story starts in the present and later there is talk about the past which reestablishes the bonds and ignites the old flames. Jericho gets the first introduction and he is just a simple musician in the bar. Once there was a time when he was the hot favorite rock star but now the old days are gone and the man is living a dull life.
His love for music has also separated him from all other pleasures especially women. In the bar women of all kinds come and go on daily basis but Jericho does not show any kind of interest in any of them. With the return of Isabelle this temperament of the rock star changes. During his youth, Jericho had a special soft corner for Isabelle but she was in no mood of staying at one place.
Though she liked Jericho but she was more interested in her fun-loving life. Now this rogue wolf comes in Jericho’s life once again and only time can tell that whether they would be able to stay together this time or not. Apparently, Izzy has no plan for staying but temporarily she starts her job at the Shifter bar where her ex-boyfriend is still working.
If you have listened to Dannika Dark’s classics i.e One Second and Ravenheart then understanding this book would not be a problem. Many of the old fans can understand this book better because they have an association with the voice of Nicole Poole. Nicole has narrated many such books so his voice is well carved for all such stories with love and lust involved all the way.
