Find Her Audiobook
Initially, the story is not about the famous detective of the series i.e D.D. Warren. Lisa Gardner starts this story with a character named Flora Dane. The girl was a college student when she was abducted and after her abduction, she became a completely changed character. Many thought that she was lucky that she survived after 472 days of her abduction.
Her mother and brother thought that she had died but that was not the case. Flora proved that she was a survivor in all situations. Then after coming back to her house, she started returning to her normal life. After five years the audience finds Flora working with the FBI victim advocate Samuel Keynes.
The mother thinks that Flora has changed a lot because she does not talk too much now. Her brother also thinks that she has become a bit creepy because in her room the wall is not decorated rather it has pictures of the victims who have escaped from the hands of the criminals in the past few years. Then one day, a person is found dead and near him is a girl whom he abducted. D.D. Warren is called to the scene and she thinks that the case is connected to Flora somehow.
Kirsten Potter’s narration is much improved here as compared to The 4th Man and Touch & Go so there is no need to fuss your mind about any negativities linked to the narration. The case of the novel gets serious when Flora goes missing for the second time in the novel and Warren detects that there is something serious going on in the town. A madman is hunting girls and he is not going to allow Flora to escape a second time.
