Fear the Sky is the first chapter of The Fear Saga. The book is written by Stephen Moss and is a work of science fiction and fantasy. Moss is an English author, birder, historian, and TV producer. The other two exciting novels in The Fear Saga of Stephen Moss are Fear the Survivors and Fear the Future which are worthy of trying.
R.C. Bray narrated this Fear the Sky novel and made it into a memorable performance. Everything was just perfect about this narration.
In 11 years, there will be as many as one million members of an alien race who will reach the planet Earth. A few years before they entered orbit, their specific approach would be announced by the fire of the thousand flames within the sky. The huge engines of their ships would burn very hard to slow them well from the higher speeds that were needed for crossing the entire interstellar space. Those foreboding lights would shine brightly in our sky just like the new stars. They got even brighter until they would outshine the sun even while casting the shadows and evicting the night until they blink out all of a sudden.
The technology they had was extremely superior to what we had and they just couldn’t lose out on the upcoming conflict. But they had found no answer at all to the destructive force of the atom, just like us. And, they also had no intention at all to face the onslaught of our primitive nuclear arsenal of ours for the devastation it could lead to.
If you are into science fiction novels then Fear the Sky is a must. The vocal performance is amazing and it beautifully captured each character of the story.
