Love and comedy go side by side in this story, Claire Kingsley has kept a nice balance in the tale which shows the skill of the author. The boss and his assistant in the story are really committed to their work and they think that they should keep the prime focus on the work only because love life has not been there for them.
Everly has tried a lot but she has not been able to find the right date for her and she is so dissatisfied that she has closed that chapter forever. Then there is her billionaire boss named Shepherd Calloway who has lost interest in dating too because he thinks that all the girls that he has found in his life were interested in his wealth only. So he has started giving more time to his business instead of greedy women.
Shepherd’s ex comes into his life once again and she starts making things difficult for the man this billionaire thinks that he has to come up with something new. Thus he asks Everly to become his live-in girlfriend for a while. Everly was also looking for a favour in life and she thought that the opportunity was right for the taking.
So the two start living together and they soon feel that they are breaking a few rules very quickly. Flirting with Forever and Behind His Eyes possess fun too but as compared to these two books, the current book has more comedy involved which makes it a light-hearted book. Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke have kept the same speed and pitch to create harmony in the story while narrating it.
