Eye Spy is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the second installment in Valdemar: Family Spies novel series. The title is written by Mercedes Lackey.

She is a talented American author of fantasy novels. The majority of her novels are set in the Velgarth world. You will thoroughly enjoy her writing in The White Gryphon novel. Storm Breaking is another brilliant literary piece from the author.

Nick Podehl is the narrator of this book. He gave a very enjoyable performance and you will love the characters and this story in his voice.

Mags and Amily were happily married together with three kids. Abidela, their daughter dreamt about building on the legacy of her parents by joining the network of spies of her father. She hoped to offset her lack of a Gift.

But when Abidela sensed the forthcoming collapse of a bridge only a short while before it happened then she saved many precious lives. It also included the life of Princess Katrina who was her best friend.

That was the experience that uncovered her special Gift. It was the ability to sense any of the physical strains in the different objects.

The Artificers were intrigued by the ability of her special Gift and they looked to claim Abi as their very own. But, it was only up to the Healers to train her.

Abi during the training figured out the many special dimensions of her Gift which included a unique connection with the different objects that enabled her to see and feel the strains.

The book wonderfully followed the known Valdemar tradition. The voice artist was exceptional and his voice truly helped the characters to come to life.
