Essentialism is a business& careers book. It is written and narrated by Greg McKeown. He is a leadership and business strategist, public speaker, and author. Effortless is another brilliant book that Greg McKeown has written.
As the narrator of Essentialism, Greg McKeown did a very good job and you will not be able to complain anything about it.
Have you ever discovered yourself to be stretched way too thin? Do you simultaneously feel underutilized and overworked? Do you find yourself quite often busy and not too productive? Do you have a feeling that most of your time regularly is getting hijacked by the agendas of other people? If your answer is yes to at least one or more questions mentioned here then Way of the Essentialist is the way out for you. The Way of the Essentialist by no means is about covering more things in lesser time.
It is actually about getting just the right things to be done on priority. This one by no means is a time management strategy or maybe a productive technique. It is a systematic discipline for discerning what is essential, then simply eliminating all of that which is not essential so that we could make the best contributions towards the things that matter a lot.
By pushing ourselves to apply more selective criteria for what is Essential, the disciplined pursuit of less empowers us all to reclaim full control over our choices about where to spend our critical energy and time.
The book is good but it could have been better if it was edited well and shortened. A good quarter of this book could be trimmed easily.
