Author Brian Herbert’s father started the series and it was an instant success. Sadly the author never had the time to give the audience a detailed picture of the wars of which he talked about in the early chapters of the series. He did wrote some rough notes about the events but never arranged them. Now Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson after a very long time of hard work have finally arranged everything for us.
There was a time when the humans used to rule over the machines but in the Dune series the machines finally took over the human world and tried to dominate in every field. The humans tried to resist but they were actually never ready for a problem of this magnitude. Very quickly the machines took control over everything but the human race was not completely crushed.
Scott Brick narrates how the humans finally run away from the place instead of fighting and start living in the desert world. There they once again start living a free life as they used to do in the past. War for domination starts in the humans once again and this makes them weak in front of the enemy.
The climax is reached when the fate of the entire human race converges on the invention of a mighty weapon that can get rid of the Dune. Dune: House Atreides: House Trilogy, Book 1 and Sandworms of Dune will not look different than this because the two authors have tried to keep things in the same old style. The originality is not allowed to move away from the main plot.
