Love heals many wounds but not all of them, there are some wounds that appear on our hearts and mind because of love. Love brings new experiences for everyone that’s why the outcomes or results are different all the time. The story of Derek Craven is not like that of an ordinary lover boy because he has been facing troubles throughout his life.

He was born a bastard which means that there was no one who could accept him as his own. He didn’t know anything about his parents and had to start his life on the streets which were tough and full of troubles of all kinds. As he grew up, he learned the art of progress, and no doubt he flourished at a rapid pace but during this time he was left with no time to love. Perhaps he thought that finding love or accepting it was not suitable for him and then he found Sara who was odd in her behavior.

She wanted to have Derek at all costs and she thought that he was made for her and he was left alone for her only. Although she knew that Derek had a dark past but she wasn’t interested in his past at all. She wanted to live with him in the present and this is what really matters to her.

Lisa Kleypas provides the two lovers ample time to love and then their past starts taking over and they find themselves confronting things that they thought they would never feel again in life. Marrying Winterborne and Devil in Spring are the other two famous books of the author and these books will tell the tale of love and sin together. The themes which Rosalyn Landor narrates are not new but it is the display of emotions by the narrator which is amazing.
