Dream Maker is a contemporary romance novel. It is the opening title in the Dream Team novel series. The subject book is written by Kristen Ashley. She is a bestselling author with more than 75 published novels to her credit. One of those worthy of mentioning here is Law Man. After this novel, you will also like her writing in The Girl in the Woods.
Susannah Jones did the narration of Dream Maker. There was a certain lisp in her voice which was quite not what the listeners expected to have. Evie was considered to be a bona fide nerd. She was also a hyperintelligent chick who was only relying on herself. When she decided to get a degree in engineering, she took a job at the Smithie’s club as a dancer. She wanted that money to pay for her tuition fees. But between her poor dancing skills and an alpha bad guy who become overprotective of her, Evie realizes that such a gig might not be as simple as she thought it to be.
Daniel knew a thing or two about pain. But the mask that he used to wear was incredible. No one could tell that the quick-witted, good-looking, and roguish boy had some deep-seated kind of issues. Daniel put on a funny-guy king of a routine so that he could hide not only his shattered heart but his PTSD as well. But when Evie danced her way into the life of Daniel, he realized that he needed to eventually face the demons of his past. This was needed of him if he wanted to have a good future with her.
Highly Recommended it!… except for the weak narration.
