Grace Valley is like a home for everyone who lives in that place and even for those who come and try to settle in this part of the world. A person cannot say that love is blooming in all corners of this town but there is mutual trust among the people which has made them act like a single unit in their time of need. They have faced the problems occurring to them as a family and this is the main strength of the natives.
June Hudson is the only doctor in the town and the people don’t need another one because she is perfect for them. She takes care of the people and treats them like a family. However, she has been keeping a secret from the people of the town i.e an affair with the secret agent named Jim Post. Jim has been meeting her secretly because he was on a different mission all the time and didn’t want to expose himself in front of everyone.
Now apparently June is pregnant and the people want to know about the father of the child. When Jim takes retirement and decides to get settled with June in Grace Valley. This solves many of her problems very quickly but there are dangers in the town that need everybody’s attention.
There is the kind of evils that the town has to deal with in a united way. The great writer Robyn Carr and the stupendous narrator Therese Plummer who were together in The Homecoming and One Wish are back with a bang in this one. The evil has to run away eventually here because Grace Valley and its residents are not going to allow anyone to spoil their peace and happiness.
