Double Dare is a romantic comedy novel. It is the sixth chapter of the A Neighbor from Hell novel series. The book is authored by R. L. Mathewson. She writes romance and her books are full of quick wit, great humor, and romance. You will find the author at her best in A Humble Heart novel. Another book by the author that deserves your attention is Another Christmas from Hell.
The audio narration of the Double Dare novel is done by Fran Jules. She was mostly good. She only needed some help with the dad’s voice. Marybeth couldn’t believe that she had survived that long with a friend like Darrin. But somehow, she had managed to beat the odds and didn’t give in to temptation and smother him with a pillow while he was asleep. Of course, there can be some days that could be much more difficult than others.
For a couple of decades, he had been biding his time. He was waiting quite a long for the right moment for making his move. And as she was ultimately his, he had to do everything that was within his power so that he could keep her with himself for good. He was desperate to do that, even if it asks to make a decision that would completely tear them apart and also push her to the point to face the truth.
The story of the book is not much believable. It could have been much better if there was a bit more to the storyline and less detailing of sex. Overall, you will find this one to be an okay read. Investing your time in the subject book wouldn’t be a bad idea.
