Destiny of the Dead is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the second installment in The Shroud of Prophecy novel series which is written by Kel Kade. The author has done some incredible work in fiction and fantasy and one of the best novels is Free the Darkness. After this one, you will also like Kel’s work in Mage of No Renown. The audio narration of Destiny of the Dead is done by Nick Podehl. It is needless to tell how amazing this performance was as Nick is one of the best narrators out there, who hardly deliver anything mediocre.
The God of Death was extremely tired of dealing hard with the living. Therefore, he decided then that everyone around should just die. On top of that, he also found a few allies. The Berru was known as a vast empire that belonged to the dark mages. It has unleashed a huge army of terrifying and monstrous lyksvight upon all other with a pulse.
While the kings and the queens, powerful and wealthy abandoned the entire dying world then there was one huge group of the misfits that said no more. Through sheer determination and the potential to bind the souls along with their dead bodies, Aaslo went on to fight along with his friends.
Then another bastion of defense was opened up in the far north mountains. Cherri was the vengeful fire god’s avatar and had united all the survivors from her people and subsequently started her war over the invaders. The book comes with a lot of action. But, it was slightly confusing as there are so many points of view shared in this one. It is not among the best novels by Kel Kade.
