Death’s Favorite Warlock

Death’s Favorite Warlock is the opening volume of the Death’s Favorite Warlock novel series. This science fiction and fantasy novel is written by Charles Dean. He is known for writing LitRPG fantasy and science fiction novels. You will have a great literary time with The Heroic Villain novel of the author. Another title of Charles Dean worthy of mentioning here is The Bathrobe Knight: Volume 1.

The audio narration of the subject title is done by Steve Campbell. He is a very good voice actor and demonstrated an excellent range of voices for the different characters of this story.

Lars almost always used to wake up with the words “kill, kill them all which was the voice in his head. It was telling him that she was giving him a quest that would help him to level.

But, he couldn’t do it, even if he wanted to. They were the cultivators or the ones with the ancestral bloodlines. Those have the powers that Lars could only dream about and that might as well be the god while he was stuck badly as a puny human.

Even if by any chance he could kill them, the people who beat him, bullied him, and treated him just like a punch-bag pariah for being a ‘worthless human’, he wouldn’t. It just wasn’t a thing in his nature.

Then a cruel group of psychopaths descended on his village with evil intentions. The group brutally murdered everyone he knew in his life while taking a few of them as slaves. Lars must look to complete the quest of his voice and subsequently level up. This was required for him to protect his mother from the captors.

The plot of this novel is very interesting and the story is great. The characters are amazing too with their very own thoughts and motivations.
