Ilona Andrews is with Jim Butcher, Rachel Caine, Deidre Knight, and Carrie Vaughn this time as they tailor the “Kate Daniels” series together. Renee Raudman, David Pittu, Natalie Gold, and L.J. Ganser have co-existed quite nicely as the official narrators for the show as well. The dark defenders start their new mission once again in which they will use all their dark techniques for the safety of the world.
The ways which these knights use are dark and deadly but they have been using their talent for the betterment of the world which proves that they are heroes in an evil disguise. Some issues related to Harry Dresden open up initially and then Kate Daniels joins in as he is hired to safeguard Saimen. Saimen hires Kate Daniels but she does not have any kind of trust in the man because both of them have different agendas. In the past, both of them have supported different sides and thus can be considered as rivals.
Other creatures from different old legends also add in and make everything worth to listen and enjoying. Book has a bigger variety than Magic Bites and Magic Bleeds in terms of characters and story. The joy will never end at all in this wonderland where a lot of characters will be presented on the same pages.
In such stories, there is always a threat that the story or the entire book even does not look well connected but this is not the case here. Everything is collected and arranged quite well on every page and in every section of the story which is another additional edge that the book possesses.
