Years ago when Milton was a young boy he had a craze for online games like any ordinary human boy. His dreams got shattered or they were destroyed permanently when he was taken into space by aliens without any reason. He didn’t have any kind of superpower nor was he working against the aliens so he was a random pick by the aliens known as the Collectives.
The aliens killed the boy after a few experiments but they kept his mind alive and it was shifted into a big size computer that can hover in space. The aliens didn’t do it for fun rather they changed Milton into a weapon that can save the Collectives from another alien race that was coming to them. Milton didn’t obey orders and when he was sent into space he tried to move as far as he could from the Collectives.
Then he reached an unknown planet where the Station Core almost collapsed. Here Milton made many new friends and he started a journey in space according to his own will. This time he has friends with him and together they can move from one dimension to the other. Jonathan Brooks’ books are really creative and they deserve narrators like Louise Cooksey and Miles Meili.
Core Construction and Dungeon Crafting Series, Books 4-6 also had good narrators because of which it was an enjoyable trip all the way like this one. A boy changing into a Station Core seems to be a farfetched story but it has a strong impact on the mind. After a few chapters, the listeners will fall in love with Milton’s new form.
