Cloak & Silence is the seventh installment in The League novel series. This book is written by Sherrilyn Kenyon. One of her very best novels is the Kiss of the Night which promises you full-on entertainment with no dull moment at all. If you like this one then her Shadow Fallen novel is also for you. The novels recommended here are awesome in audio as they both are narrated beautifully as well.
The narration of this novel is done by Holter Graham. It was a great performance. People enjoyed this performance and it got even better after he is done with his cancer treatment. He got a very warm welcome from his fans and this performance was passionate and completely outstanding.
Maris is one of the fiercest soldiers ever been produced by Phrixians. He used to be the outsider for all his life. He was raised with a top secret that cost him almost everything that he had.it cost him his family, birthright, and his flourishing military career. He only had one love all his life and that was sacrificed just to see the woman he loved getting reunited with his best friend. He was done with his good deed in his life and he feels quite adrift and lost. The new family tried his best to include him but he appears to be an outsider once again.
The story of this novel is not that great as you would have expected from Sherrilyn. It had a weak plot with not-so-good development of the characters. The narration however was quite solid and probably the strongest point of this audio novel.
