She is the bestselling author in the New York Times of fiction and historical fantasy novels. The Witch’s Daughter is her bestselling novel. Moreover, she was also adored for her writing in The Little Shop of Found Things: A Novel.

The audio narration of City of Time and Magic novel is done by Marisa Calin. She was stunning with her performance. She received many positive reviews who loved her voice for its inflection and having great tonal quality.

Xanthe in City of Time and Magic could be seen up against the toughest challenges of her life. She must look to choose from the three different treasures on offer that sing to her. It was first about the charming writing slope, some mourning ornament with exceptional detail, and then an elegant gem-set hat pin. All of the options call her but it was not as easy as it appeared to be. Any wrong call here could take Xanthe over a mission that will be quite different than the one that she must first address. Moreover, the stakes here couldn’t be any higher than this. Her earlier mission was a huge success that was to Regency England. The journey home in that mission led to Liam being taken away from her. He was spirited away to some other place and time.

City of Time and Magic is by far the best of all the four books in the series of far. You will enjoy the writing of Brackston which is pretty unique and intriguing. The excellent quality of audio narration further added a lot of charm to this audiobook.
