Frank Herbert started the concept of the Dune long ago and then he carried on with it throughout his life. The author got the chance to create books like Dune, Dune Messiah and other such books in his career. Just some time before his death he created this last piece of the puzzle and gave the audience something to cheer for a very long time. Perhaps the author was sure of his failing health because of which he has also tried to wind up the series at this point.
The desert planet which was named Dune has finally perished in this episode after which those who were living on that planet have to find someplace else to get settled and flourish. Survivors of the Dune are powerful creatures but without their homeworld their existence has been threatened.
If they don’t find a place to settle quickly then sooner or later they will end up like the others who have gone down with the desert planet. While wandering in the galaxy they finally find a planet which is not like their previous home but it appears to be a nice secure zone for them. The new planet which they plan to get settled in is a green world i.e opposite to their liking.
So they start turning it into a desert slowly so that they finally get what they like the most. Euan Morton, Scott Brick, Katherine Kellgren, and Simon Vance start narrating the simple story where the Bene Gesserit have started to look for a home and after some time action is infused into all of it. Don’t miss the scenes at the climax otherwise, you will miss the point of the author completely.
