Breaking Gods is the first installment in the Godbreaker novel series. This is a fictional classic novel which is written by D. J. Molles. He is the bestselling author for his The Remaining Series in the New York Times. That bestselling series was self-published for the first time in 2012 and it took no time in becoming the bestseller. The Remaining is a very powerful novel written by the author. The Nine is another promising novel from the author.
The narration of this novel is done by Christian Rummel. He has narrated plenty of other novels from Molles so his voice is not new for the followers of the author. The performance of the narrator was quite satisfactory for this novel.
After 500 years, things weren’t any good for human beings. All of the demigods left behind for guarding humanity were being employed as fodder for the never-ending war amid themselves. The humans were slaughtering one another dutifully while starting battle after battle.
But, all this was not that bad as it seems to be. Perry was known for making his ends meet through those bloody battlefields. He was part of a crew that reclaimed all of the shell casings which were spent. The same got reloaded into the new cartridges and were later sold in the town. It was more of a very good gig which helped Perry with some gold coins in his pocket. The best thing in the entire situation for Perry is that nobody ever questioned him about his past. The book might have a slow and awry start but then it builds up quite nicely and finishes with a very exciting ending. This is definitely worth the credit and must be tried.
