Brawn Audiobook
Laurann Dohner has formed a nice rhythm in the New Species series but the stories are not interconnected to each other. Each book which the author has created before this is an independent story about a different a species. Still the animal lust and the desire for a mate are the same in books like Tiger and Shadow. Brawn a New Species came to a new place because he was trying to hide from his enemies and at the same time he was looking for a hardcore mate.
Many human girls have impressed him in the past but he does not try to mate with human females because they are weak and cannot keep up with his desires. In this new town, he meets Becca who is sizzling hot and she too wants to have him in bed. Then Brawn rents an apartment and is surprised to see that Becca is also living near to his apartment.
It was a chance to tempt the human female and check that whether she is worth it or not. Brawn does not get the full chance because soon he and Becca are kidnapped and are taken by the enemy for a breeding experiment. The enemy wants Becca to breed the New Specie as a change and Brawn does not want to hurt her at all. The relation developing between Brawn and Becca is given a more smoky voice by the narrator Vanessa Chambers.
Brawn becomes possessive about the girl and he starts planning for an escape and he is not leaving Becca behind. This new connection amazes the enemy too that wants to check different feelings of the New Specie.
