The lady was leading a normal life, after her arrival at Ireland’s shores the luck twisted drastically. She found herself trapped in the world full of magic and magical creatures. Way in was easy but way out was full of troubles which are difficult to overcome. Situation can become easy for the girl if she finds the old book containing all the dark magic in the world. With the help of that book she would be able to overcome the difficulties which she faces now. There are assassins with magical abilities that are after her and then there are two tempting males she cannot keep her eyes off. Karen Marie Moning makes the life of the girl corrosive and she is even not sure about the two guys whom she has started liking.
With lovely voice of Joyce Bean narrating this novel full of fight scenes, love affairs and mystery we just get carried away on most occasions in the novel. Come directly to Darkfever and Shadowfever after ending the book because you will love the quality of Karen’s work in all of these books. Black magic has never been so much highlighted before in any other novel of the era. Forceful ways in which the spells are pronounced make it looks real to the eyes and for some time we don’t pay attention to the story rather we get interested in the outcome of the magic.
