Jane Yelllowrock is not an ordinary shape-shifting skinwalker, rather she is one of a kind who can fight against any kind of enemy. One thing which separates her from the rest of the supernatural creatures is her courage to stand against wrong. The second thing is her attitude towards her kind. She hasn’t allowed creatures like her to get trapped anywhere as long as she is there.
Jane is ready to help those in distress even when they are not calling her for help because she thinks of it as her duty to protect her kind at any rate. Molly happens to be a witch and she is an old friend of Jane Yellowrock. Now after many years, Molly decides to meet Jane for which she comes to New Orleans but she never makes it to Jane’s door.
After a while, Molly’s husband Evan comes to the city looking for his wife and when he does not find any sign of Molly he goes to Jane who is surprised to listen to this news. Faith Hunter like old times has made the main character emotional about the incident first so that we can see that Jane coming with full force towards her enemies. Jane is not going to show mercy but the enemy whom she is going to face on this occasion is far more powerful than her expectations.
Junkyard War and Final Heir showed the true power and courage of the main characters and their sacrificing nature will get revealed in this novel. This one is like an awesome literary curry that cannot be left unattended. Khristine Hvam is linked to this series for a long time and a lot of people listening to the series don’t talk about the narration now which is complete injustice to the narrator who is doing a good job.
