Biting Bad

Chloe Neill came up with a new young vampire and the adventures of Merit continue in this chapter. Merit was not a vampire from the beginning and she has recently transformed into one. Since the day she transformed into an immortal life has been tougher than before. She has faced creatures from hell and during all this time she had the old battle-ax, Ethan Sullivan, on her side.

This old vampire has the guts to face anything because he has seen every sort of danger that can come to the vampire world. Together Ethan and Merit have been trying to save the town in which they live, thus they are not like other blood-sucking vampires who hover in the darkness and smell fresh blood. Chicago is changing slowly which brings more bad news for the Merit.

There are groups in the city that are trying to eradicate vampires forever and the source behind the campaign is unknown. Merit along with his trusted friends goes in search of the real person who has a grudge for vampires. Sophie Eastlake gives the voice of a detective to Merit this time because she is in search of her real enemy. Shadowed Steel and Some Girls Bite share issues between the vampires and the humans.

Chloe takes the issues deeper because the source of the anti-vampire groups is not a human on this occasion. Merit’s life as a vampire would soon come to an end if she is not able to solve the thing permanently. Ethan appears to be hiding different things from Merit but these are personal things and thus related to the personal life.
