Marcus and his friends were just tired of the situation in the real world and they needed an escape from that hell. After a long discussion, they decided to shift to an online game for a while so that they can live their dream in that way. Marcus was really surprised when he entered the game because it was not according to his thoughts.
The game was different and also Marcus thinks that he is stranded in that game world because he is unable to find his friends. The game has separated Marcus and his friends so this young hero is on his own in this strange village that is in front of his eyes. The village gets attacked by goblins and the people are not able to fight back properly.
Marcus thinks that he has a trick or two in his arsenal so he decides to help the villagers and the effort remains successful. When the horde of goblins moves away, the villagers find the village in a bad condition and they think that they cannot withstand another attack like that. Instead of going anywhere else, the villagers come to Marcus and ask him for help.
Marcus realizes that the attack of the goblins was just the beginning and he can survive only if he works with the villagers in the rebuilding process. Luke Chmilenko’s Hell to Pay and Death and Glory are electrifying finishes without any doubt but no story can be compared with the epic ending of this book. Luke Daniels finishes the narration in superb style like always. Thus it is an awesome book to have if someone likes action and virtual reality.
